L A M W I N G is established in Oct 2020 with launch of product THE BRA BAG from her BA Graduate Collection WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT THE JOHNSONS. L A M W I N G focuses on accessories and artisan jewellery, while expending to menswear. She explores conceptualism with utility and details through emotions, as to arouse critical thinking and raise awareness on views of wearer and onlooker. Her products are details-focused,
and aims to challenge concepts and to push boundaries of accessories and jewellery designs.
ABOUT THE DESIGNER - LAM WING
Graduated with BA (Hons) Fashion & Textiles Design in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), participated in exchange programme to Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in Spring 2019. Exploring concepts of conceptualism with utility, relationships with emotions and body movements with garment constructions, Wing's design aims to provoke emotions, arouse critical thinkings and raise awareness on social issues through views of wearer and onlooker. Her collections are deeply rooted in development of strains towards details-focused muted, yet bright playful designs. While focusing on feature designs, Wing also emphasis on abstract ideas within patterns, exploring differ pattern making methods with attempts of weaving concepts in lines and constructions.
