ABOUT THE DESIGNER - KAY
After graduating from PolyU, KAY gained industry experience as a finalist in the Hong Kong Young Designer's Contest and during her 13-year tenure as a knitwear designer at SHIMA SEIKI. Her work involved utilizing advanced knitting technology, especially in WHOLEGARMENT. She showcased her collections at prestigious fashion events in Italy Pitti Filati, France Premiere Vision, Japan, and Hong Kong Fashion Week. In 2019, she founded CAPITAL K (Knitfanatics in Mainland China), an innovative knitted bag brand that offers unique and affordable designs. CAPITAL K prioritizes sustainability by using eco-friendly materials and practices, maintaining a low stock and wastage supply chain, and employing 3D virtual sampling and digital production methods. In 2023, KAY established KLOOPS STUDIO, a fashion consultant company.
