BLIND BY JW

Established in 2013, Blind by JW is co-founded by fashion designers Jessica Lau and Walter Kong. Supported by Hong Kong Design Centre and Fashion Farm Foundation (FFF), the womenswear designer label offers customers a grand, feminine style and design narratives through hand-drawn digital print and cultural inspirations. Using authentic blind as their inspiration, the hand-drawn technique draws the outside world and brings the enchanted fairytale beauty within. Blind by JW opens their first Popup Store at Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 1, K11, and PMQ in Hong Kong. 

ABOUT THE DESIGNER - WALTER KONG & JESSICA LAU

Mr. Walter Kong graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and received ‘The Overall Championship at Hong Kong Young Fashion Designers’ Contest in 2007. Walter worked in many well-known fashion companies in China and Hong Kong before co-founding the brand with Jessica. Ms Jessica Lau graduated from Central Saint Martins in London, and was elected for ‘Best Emerging Fashion Designer’. Prior to joining Blind by JW, Jessica has worked for many renowned luxury fashion houses in the world including Alexander McQueen, John Galliano, and Diane Von Furstenberg.
