Dr Tsai-Chun Huang @huangtsaichun picked the God Guardians, ‘Pat ka chiòng (八家將)’ from Taiwanese folklore adopting his new interest in hand-tufting technique to create this design on a fencing mask based on the geometrized images of lotus leaves and flowers.
